Ultimate Dog Battle (UDB) represents a SOL-20 governance token integrated into the UDB Universe. UDB holders have the opportunity to claim rewards by staking their tokens, participating in games, and essential governance votes.
The fundamental purpose of Ultimate Dog Battle is to align incentives between players and developers, introducing innovative mechanisms. The underlying goals of these mechanisms are twofold:
Reward players for their interaction with UDB, while also incentivizing token retention for additional rewards.
Decentralize ownership and governance of UDB Meta.
The vision is to transform UDB into a game genuinely owned and operated by the community that plays it. While the possibilities are vast, this transition needs to be approached with caution. In the past, projects have used the term "decentralization" without fulfilling their promises, resulting in abandonment and stagnation. The shift to a truly decentralized organization will occur gradually over time.
By the end of 2024, the Community Treasury will come into operation, receiving revenues generated by UDC and a portion of staking rewards. The governance of this treasury will eventually be transferred to UDB holders as the network reaches sufficient levels of decentralization.

In the early stages of Ultimate Dog Battle, staking issuance will be significant, incentivizing a large stake of UDB without the immediate need for another source of funding. However, as staking issuance decreases over time, it will be crucial to find additional sources of funding to maintain high percentages of staked UDB, with the Community Treasury being a possible solution, ensuring sustainable funding from UDB Meta-related activities.
